Digital Operative

I lead multiple agile project teams of 3-5 developers on Magento e-commerce website builds and support contracts.

  • Developed and executed project SOWs to upgrade and migrate integrated systems to meet the business requirements of B2C and B2B e-commerce clients. 
  • Led stand-ups and directed work to deliver continuous improvement to 33 International e-commerce sites with a 500k annual contract.
  • Communicated with clients daily and weekly with calls, tickets, and reports to provide clear views into work in progress and empower them to set priorities.
  • Streamlined standups to start with tasks ready for production and work backward and prioritizing new work. This enabled us to deliver the most important tasks on time, aligned the team’s next steps and was implemented company-wide.

Digital Operative

Coordinated a project team of 3 developers to build and provide continuous improvement to 13 e-commerce Magento websites.

  • Led project team to build 7 websites, completed on time and under budget after the account manager and senior PM left the team and company halfway through the project.
  • Expanded customer satisfaction within support contracts by delivering accurate estimates, clear budget tracking, and features that meet customer expectations.
  • Iteratively improved daily task reprioritization process to balance work in progress with urgent requests, by understanding the client’s business needs by providing clear communication.

I managed a project to design and develop a new company WordPress website for PAC in collaboration with a 3rd Party Design studio.

GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT     November 2016 – March 2018

As a researcher under the direction of Computer Science and Engineering professor Dr. Yunfei Hou, my work focused on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Connected Vehicles, 5g, Heavy Trucks and regional transportation technology projects.

  • Led the project to reconstruct and upgrade the Heavy Truck simulation lab to support logistics research and an education pathway program
  • Developed a research project to estimate instantaneous fuel consumption with an android application, OBDII, vehicle ECU and GIS Data.

Perkins School for the Blind

Directed the Student Technology Center which taught technology and social skills to students with special needs through after-school programs, an internet radio station, and special events.

  • Developed 5 new technology classes and 10 new clubs
  • Managed 2 employees, 50 volunteers, and interns
  • Provided IT support for OSX and Windows machines, radio station and assistive technology
  • Interviewed on NPR about my development of the internet radio station programming.
